Dr. Roberto Mejía Alarcón,
on the occasion of the presentation of the book
PHILOSOPHY OF UNIVERSITY STUDENT,
written by Professor Eudoro Terrones Negrete.

In the journey of life reflects many experiences, knowledge will give day to day, the lessons are accumulated and all social existence makes maturing to the point that we leads effectively to fulfill our role in a responsible manner.
Years ago I had a chance to meet a distinguished and memorable teacher. It was a valuable opportunity to talk to who had given proof of their quality of classroom teacher, but also exemplary mother. Her existence was closely tied to the activities of civic life and, therefore, the complexity of politics in our country. She had lived in difficult times for Peru, under the burden of intolerance and misunderstanding. Her husband had been deprived of freedom and, therefore, had to face the dual role of parent and home educator, instilling in her two children a decent life values \u200b\u200band principles of conduct exemplary citizen.
This memory is in my memory as exemplary expression of a philosophy of life and as a reference to assist in the educational process that our country badly needs. I am referring to Mrs García Pérez Ronceros Nith. I interviewed during my years as reporter for a major local newspaper and its terms have left me a memory pleasant and exciting. It was a woman born to face all the vicissitudes but fitted at the same time of incredible spiritual value, so large that enabled him to overcome the most painful episodes that can have a mother, with the addition of having the talent to fulfill their role as a teacher, in this case, in your own home. Have shared these minutes have been for me an unforgettable lesson and now try to imitate a different scenario, such as presiding over the management of a journalism school is as important as this university college and Jaime Bausate Meza.
The lesson she deserves to be shared by many. I think this has happened, too, with the Professor Eudoro Terrones Negrete, author of "Philosophy of the university student," learning to learn in college. Master of vocation training and profession, Professor Terrones Negrete has added very young much knowledge and great experiences. So now holds the degrees of Master and Doctor in one of the most beautiful of every human being: to educate.
That identity has been clearly at the root of his vocation by the letters and their lavish desires to provide to the nation after construction works, which says much about continuing the service delivery of education in our country. Recent credits title so and no wonder, because it is a teacher for whom there barriers and difficult times in this purpose without an end, to enlighten his compatriots with his extensive background of experience and knowledge. The teacher will mark many milestones in his life, both as an educator from a very distant youth, to major public office, as he held in his capacity as a legislator in the House of Representatives in late 1985 - 1990, where in fact endorsed the idea of \u200b\u200bgiving to the school of journalism in the hierarchy of an institution with university status.
He knew the history of this historic house of studies. For that disinterested manner considered appropriate to join the efforts of those who wanted to pay tribute of justice to our school. Therefore, with the support of other key lawmakers, the same social sensitivity, was one of the champions for passage and enactment follows the law N 25167. His man management was an example of responsible, honest citizen and as legislator decided to defend just causes.
This memory, long after he encouraged me to invite you to join the faculty of the School of Journalism and Bausate Jaime Meza, without thinking that over the years, Professor Terrones was to become a paradigmatic representative our institution, within a set of talents and intelligences that have allowed this house bubbling up in reputation for quality training. Tonight
of memories and emotions within the framework of philosophy of education, I come to remember other names of as many teachers who have helped grow Bausate and Meza. So I can not mention Dona Mercedes Cabanillas Bustamante, who spontaneously legislator has also shown concern for this very purpose. She played important role in the interpretation of the law that gave our school the university level and has enabled our graduates to perform as professionals of the highest, both journalism and in the work of university teaching.
with the same emotion and as a testimony of gratitude I must mention Dr. José Carlos Carrasco Tavara, a legislator who is also fit, at the time, the delicate task of giving our school a remarkable step towards the future. He is the author who now face the challenge of college, designation achieved by law and with detachment, but also knowingly became a reality on the initiative of Dr. Carrasco Távara parliament. From him we learned the lesson of life is not only the expression of a moment, but also the enduring testimony gives substance to each act we meet as human beings with dignity.
The presentation of this book, which crowns all the intellectual effort of Professor Terrones Negrete, I have the privilege to express to them our gratitude, because we have opened the way to learn in our own university, in fulfillment of the tasks we are inherent.
However, I must add a special paragraph to the teacher Eudoro Terrones, a man of character and resilience, persistence without limitation, the owner of a fixed horizon where the word of the teacher, the true master of vocation. In his work, which has been aptly titled "Philosophy of the University student, the author has accumulated ideas and thoughts, to reason, to reflect, to successfully fulfill our part step in the process of university life, whether as a teacher, as a student.
In his work, this illustrious teacher reviews how to know about a philosophy that has a history but it reaches into other dimensions as the years progress. This book leaves the mystery of the doubt and drew back the veil of ignorance. The effort is relaxed and the view, giving a more memory efficient. Terrones has known Professor select the best thinking in the interest of good education and invites us to continue learning to learn in college. His work is valuable and should be as testimony of a professor who believes that as adding up the years, also must add new and better knowledge.
For this reason, Minister of Education, Dr. Victor Raul Diaz Chavez, I welcome and invite him to present this masterpiece that takes us to learn what to do for the good of education in Peru. For this reason I welcome Dr. Iván Rodríguez Chávez, distinguished president of the University Ricardo Palma and former president of the National Assembly of Rectors, for comments.
