PHILOSOPHY STUDENT

Just published the book Philosophy of university student. Learning to learn in college, Eudora Terrones Negrete. A necessary book because it points to the academic route and teachers should consider students for teaching and learning. Terrones Eudoro
Negrete has a doctorate in education and collegiate journalist with a broad curriculum in the investigation. He has clearly addressed issues at a university under siege as Psychology (1969), Political Economy (1969), World History (1970), What is philosophy? (1971), among others, but has also published books like Meditations on the APRA (1978), Education and Culture in Tarma (1981), Song of Tarma, poems anthology (1982), Defining the APRA (1984), Cáceres Region and its future (1990 ) Philosophy (college text) (1992), Profile of the journalist (1994), interview techniques (1995), among others.
The structure of the book is organized into six chapters that address the needs it faces, both a teacher and student in teaching and learning.
Negrete Lumpkin's career allows us to design a series of paths that are based on his experience as university teaching. A sampling of techniques and methods of study, outputs from the same heat of teaching practice. We also find a presentation of strategies for scientific research work.
In the first chapter: "The thinking activity", conceptualized what it means to think, argue what is thought, sets out the characteristics of thought, elements of thought and the kinds of thinking.
The novelty brings us this account of theories and formulations of hypotheses about rational thought, is the proposal of Edward De Bono on Lateral Thinking, is just creative thinking: "The Lateral Thinking acts by releasing the mind of the polarizing effect of the old ideas and stimulating new and does so by cunning, but above all through creativity and ingenuity, mental processes with which it is deeply attached "(p.21).
This postmodern world changing technologies and scientific discoveries, with a vortex in the emotional journeys of human beings, need to build new concepts to change the mental structures that still remain in some areas of human civilization.
Keep in mind that "Lateral Thinking leads to propose different ways to solve a problem, and not only through the logic. Polydirectional moves in search of the best solution to solve new problems without solving maintain established patterns of diversity being able to pose appropriate solutions rather than finding a single correct "(22).
believe that since 1992, when the seven major developed countries raised the need for the Human Genome Project, the world changed radically. In the future, will speak before and after this date. The scientists of this project as Alexander Vandel out that all humans have 15 billion neurons, and that this only works one hundred percent to five percent, but in geniuses in science. Ordinary human beings will be from two to two and a half.
These are the bases that Negron Terrones cements its proposal in the first chapter of his book, especially in the subject matter of the brain and its hemispheres: left and right. Similarly reflects on the limbic system, which "consists of various structures whose function is related to emotional responses, learning and memory. Our personality, our memories and, ultimately, the fact that we are, depend largely on the limbic system (27).
In the second chapter, "What every college student Should Know "showcase of attitudes, profiles, duties and virtues with which a student must be involved. In the third chapter, "The college student, the book and reading, in the fourth," Psychology of the College Student "in the fifth," Methods and techniques of study "in the sixth," Introduction to scientific research ". Routes designed a college student in his academic tenure.
On the other hand, we believe that this book opens the floodgates in ways accessible to knowledge within the thinking activity. College textbook indispensable to academic life un estudiante y docente.
